The 2015 Summer Plenary Meeting will be held on June 13, 2015 at the Scottsdale Civic Center Library.
In the morning, federally certified court interpreter and certified medical interpreter Juan Vaquer will give us a brief overview of what advocacy means to us in our legal environment versus our medical environment, and then explore events in which the two intersect and how we balance the ethical canons from each field.
In the afternoon, Stephanie Siete, Director of Community Education from Community Bridges, Inc. will offer a presentation on the latest drug trends, behaviors and abuse. Insights that are sure to be useful to those of us working in Juvenile, Criminal, or Mental Health courts.
Before breaking for lunch, we will have a business meeting to set the Nominating Committee.
