Zenab Khouder is an award-winning Arabic Certified Court Interpreter and the first Arabic interpreter directly employed by the Superior Court of Arizona in Maricopa County (2023), the nation's fourth-largest general jurisdiction court.
Certified with the Supreme Courts of Arizona, Illinois, Kentucky, Idaho, and Wyoming, Zenab also serves as a Provisionally Qualified interpreter for the Superior Court of California and Language Skilled interpreter for the U.S. District Court (Federal Court, CA).

As owner of ECHO LINGUA, Inc., Zenab provides interpretation and translation services across legal, medical, educational, and business sectors. Additionally, she has worked as a freelance interpreter and linguist, providing services for business meetings and international conferences. She specializes in training interpreters for state certification exams and delivers continuing education for certified professionals in all languages.
Zenab serves as an instructor at InterpretTrain, referee and guest trainer at Prince Sultan University, and contractor for the Wisconsin Court Interpreter Program's Arabic Certification Exam Preparation Workshops. She has provided training sessions at the ATA Annual Conference and provided training, interpretation, and translation services for the Orange County Department of Education.
Background:
Zenab spent half her life in Syria, where she completed high school and college, and the other half in the United States, where she continued her education and built her distinguished career. Her multicultural background and extensive legal system experience uniquely position her to bridge language and cultural gaps in critical settings.
Fluent in English, Arabic (Modern Standard and multiple regional dialects), and Czech, Zenab is deeply committed to advancing the interpreting profession, ensuring language access for all, and fostering professional excellence.
